Month seven of The Other Other Show has arrived. This time around we just need to UNWIND, that's why we're going to sit back and relax while some super funny folks perform comedy/menial tasks for us. This Friday at Midnight, iO's Del Close Theater.

People of Internet! For those of you who have human avatars and attended our Chicago Sketchfest shows, thank you! It was a blast, and apparently other people thought so too. Check out Nina Metz's review for the Chicago Tribune by traveling through this portal --> O. Again, for those of you with physical representation in the tangible world, you can also pick up that review at a "newstand." It's almost the nicest thing anyone has ever said about us. Next to the folks at theotherotherguys.com saying it was the funniest three part space adventure/sketch comedy show we've seen earlier in this sentence.
See you Feb. 3 at iO!
This Friday, Dec. 2, we're putting on another hot, fresh edition of The Other Other Show. Arguably one of the top ten bithday-themed sketch shows featuring a time traveling robot, "Have Birthday - Will Time Travel" will be sure to knock your socks off!
It's The Other Other Guys' 5th birthday and they're going to celebrate in style! Unbeknowst to The OOG, however, a cunning time traveler has come from the future to sabotage their night of good, clean fun. Will The Other Other Guys have their cake and eat it too, or will the Time-Space Continuum collapse into itself rendering the linear concept of age and birthdays completely meaningless?! Find out Friday, Dec. 2 at MIDNIGHT!
Also there will be jokes!
With Special Guests:
Morgan Lord
Alex Honnet
Anthony Oberbeck
Mary Cait Walthall
Directed by Michael Balzer and Becky Poole!
Get ready for one of the best crime dramas featuring characters from Frasier this year! on November 4 at midnight we're relaunching The Other Other Show at iO Chicago!
This month we'll perform a classic episode of Frasier while a criminal conspiracy threatens to rock the very foundation of the world we've grown accustomed to. It will be a night of suspense, violence, love, hate, and scrambled eggs!
With special guests Anthony Oberbeck, Mary Cait Walthall, and more!
Directed by Michael Balzer!

Round two of "The 17th Annual Summerville Massacre and Cat Parade" begins at iO This Saturday at midnight. We'll be performing the show that Timeout Chicago called "distinctly...icky" for six more weeks in the Del Close Theater. Touch this underlined word with your "cursor" to find out more and buy tickets.
We'll also be performing a very different show, with far less cardboard and dairy products, at Stage 773 this Friday at 10:30 PM. Info and tickets can be found here. Again, as a reminder, the word "here" is a link that will take you to another website (take you in the abstract sense...you'll still be sitting on a couch/toilet/tortoise shell) when you place your cursor onto the word and click using your mouse.
Also, check out the "Hoo" section for some recent press and other media related to our show at Sketchfest NYC.
OH! ALSO (last also, I promise) check out Tosh.0 on Tuesday June 28 to see a sketch of ours on the TV!
THAT IS ALL
SEE US AT iO. APRIL 30. MIDNIGHT.

Sup Dudes. After three successful weeks of The Other Other Show we, you guessed it, have a fourth week. And a fifth. And a sixth... Check out the updated schedule over at the Hootenany.
Happy Lunar Eclipse,
The Other Other Guys

Have you ever caught yourself thinking this aloud? "Boy, I wish there was some sort of comedy variety show that ran every Wednesday night at 8:30 in an art gallery located on the third floor of a lovely building on the corner of Foster and Clark." If you answered yes, then you're in luck!
The Other Other Guys are proud to announce THE OTHER OTHER SHOW! You guessed it. It's a weekly comedy variety show that's happening every Wednesday at 8:30 PM at the Upstairs Gallery (5219 N. Clark). -Dan Polydoris (respected and esteemed stand up comedian)
-Rabbit Rabbit (2 man sketch comedy/also appearing at Sketch Fest)
Check out the Hootenanny page for upcoming shows and lineups.

We are proud to announce we will be performing at the 2011 Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival! This will be our second time at the fest. Last year we had a blast and we predict this year will be a mediocre time. If you don't believe us you can refer to this "uniform resource locator" which will direct you to the schedule. If you don't have time to click on the link or are receiving the print version of this website please read below for show information.
Thursday January 13, 8 PM
North Theater @ Stage 773 (1225 W. Belmont Ave)
Tickets go on sale November 19 (more info at www.chicagosketchfest.com)
We'll also be announcing some sweet, sweet news about the time between now and January 13 and the events and activities taking place within that time frame very soon!
Hi everyone! We finally have the photos and video of the spectacular known as "Devin Dates the Giant" that appeared on the Improv Olympic's stage this past Friday night. For pictures check out our Facebook page. If you want to see the one night only performance that everyone is talking about check out on our H'video page or right underneath this sentence:
It's here! The WEBiSHOW is now online on this very website. Click on the highly alliterative H'video link to check out episode one. We had a great premiere at Joone Studios and thank everyone that came...we'll be throwing up some content from that show soon.
ALSO! Now that the WEBiSHOW got our online content ball rolling, we'll be putting up video of live performances and some other stuff too in the coming weeks.
So go check out the show while we all sit in a dark room waiting for those internet checks to arrive.
The time is nigh, folks. BIG TIME NIGH. For the past few months we've been working hard on The Webishow and the first episode is finally done. We decided that the best way to premiere our web show was to DO IT LIVE...then put it on the internet. So if you're in Chicago on September 18 at Joone Studios (1327 N. Ashland Ave) you can check out our first episode along with a night of comedy from members of the Other Other Guys and some good friends too. HEY! There's a facebook event about it! If you can't make it, then come back here on September 19 to watch it the way it was meant to be watched...hunched over a laptop eating hot fries.
Don't forget to see us at the Improv Olympic on September 24 at midnight where we will put on a performance of a lifetime.
When we last talked three months ago we were just starting our journey into the profitable world of INTERNETAINMENT. We now have the majority of material filmed and we're getting ready to release it all onto your web net. Expect the first episode of The Other Other Guy's Webishow in August!
As you read this you might be thinking: but Other Other Guys, I don't have the internet, how do you expect me to watch your comedy? Well if you live in Chicago, there are at least two upcoming opportunities:
-This Sunday we will be premiering some of the sketches from our Webishow at The Sweater Kittens Variety Hour at Cole's Bar 2338 N. Milwaukee Ave at 3PM (part of the Milwaukee Ave Arts Fest)
-We will be performing at the IO SKETCH CAGEMATCH at the regionally famous Improv Olympic on Sept. 24th. It's a tournament of sorts so save the date and help us win! (more details as they come)
Also today is the birthday of Other Other Guy Devin Bockrath. In honor of her being twentylame years old, let's watch Eric Siegel vomit.
Two bits of exciting news:
1.) We are performing in Urbana, Ill. as part of the Malignant Humor Festival at the University of Illinois this Friday. We'll be closing the night with some slam bang scripted comedy. Don't worry, we'll be pausing for laughter. (pause for laughter) The show starts at Sundown on April 23 at the Illini Union with some great student improv and sketch groups (google the address so we don't have to)
2.) At our last meeting we compiled all the material that will make our first three online episodes. Now all we have left is additional editing, casting, rehearsal, filming, and final edits. All that shouldn't take more than five or six days max, right? So expect episodes soon!
That's all I have right now. But in the meantime, check out some Other Other Guys, Kevin Reader and John Thibodeaux, showing some skin:
